I still think that I have a dream job after working as a Production Designer in television for 25 years.

This work is artistic and practical at the same time. My work includes designing atmospheres, sets, graphics and sometimes even furniture to different types of TV shows and programs.
The types vary from News studio to Eurovision Song Contest 2007, from Children’s programs to virtual sets used in current affair type programs.
Sometimes the set has to fill a large arena and sometimes it has to be fitted in a bag! Sometimes the set is digital and inside a computer.

I am also specialized in making and designing real time virtual tv- sets. 3D sketches and models, photoshopped images and Technical drawings are everyday tools at my work.
I have also had the opportunity to work as a teacher at Aalto ARTS / Department of Film, Television and Scenography.

Here I have couple of images of my recent works in Presidential Elections (designed with a colleague Teija Vilkkovaara) and two children programs for Yle Tampere , and Lighting tests in News Studio from year 2012 and an image of Golden Venla TV-Awards Gala 2016.
