Samuli Halla
Samuli Halla (b. 1969), Art Director, Stage Designer, Costume Designer, Spatial Artist.
Halla has done for 20 years professionally varied visual designs for theatre, movies, TV and events. At the moment he is working as Stage and Costume Designer at the Lappeenranta City Theatre, Finland.
He masters all the scales and the styles, indoors and outdoors. Some examples: Set Decoration for the Turilas & Jäärä (Tootletubs & Jyro) movie and the animation series, 2001; Stage design for Shrek the Musical, Helsinki City Theatre, 2016.
Halla was granted the Jussi-award (Finnish Oscar Award) for the Set design of the Pelikaanimies (Pelicanman) movie, 2004.
